Deformers in Cinema 4D make things easier by helping shape objects without a lot of work. They're like shortcuts that make the process smoother. When combined with Mograph elements, it opens up a ton of exciting options for creating cool effects and animations. It's like having a doorway to a whole new world of possibilities!

The spring was created using Helix spline and Spline Wrap deformer was used to bend it. As I started to experiment with it, the whole rig changed into a walking spring on the platforms.  I ended up creating 2 rigs one with Bend deformer and the other with MoSpline which can also be bent without using the deformer. To add the effect of Stretch and Compression of the spring I have used Squash & Stretch deformer. Other than that the handles of the spring are connected using Cloner generator having the Helix spline of spring in its object's property.
